An impressive 30 hectares, the equivalent of 25 football fields, has been reserved exclusively as green open spaces. This includes 17 hectares of preserved environmental corridors which are home to a variety of native birds and wildlife.
Along with smaller parks scattered through the community, the $2.7 million Woodlands’ District Park has a huge list of features to keep you and the family entertained.
- For the kids and pets: toddler play equipment, a skate and bike area, dog off-leash park
- For fitness and sports: two multi-purpose sports courts, outdoor gym fitness equipment, rock climbing
- For outdoor events: shelters and BBQ facilities, performance stage

Finally, 7km of cycle and pedestrian paths connect the community, meandering through 30 hectares of parks, wetlands and native bushland.
